Last night I was planning on what to bring for lunch. I noticed that I had ham, bacon, mixed veggies in the ref. *light bulb!* rice-in-a-box! Too bad I woke up late this morning and I felt lazy to cook. I decided this would be the day that I tried Manong stair’s food (there’s a guy who sells food in the building). Today’s viands were pork sinigang and fish - obviously, I chose pork sinigang because I don’t like fish. Anyway, it was good that I still managed to bring luncheon meat today. There wasn’t that much meat in the sinigang, mostly fat.
When I got home I was really excited to start preparing my dinner. Boo! I forgot to buy oyster sauce. And boo for the bad pic.

Hey everyone! Long time no updates.
I actually still have a couple of draft posts about January that I just can’t seem to complete.
Anyway, I’d like you to meet someone.. err something. In one of my previous posts (”Computer Man”), I talked about using the parts of my two not-so-good computers to make a better one (CPU). I already merged parts of the two here in Manila. I’ve been asking my parents to bring it home since December. Haha I ended up bringing it with me on the bus this weekend.
I got all excited to plug it in with the monitor, keyboard and mouse at home. But then, the thing wont start! It would power up but it wont show anything. I thought that the crt monitor was broken. So I tried to plug the laptop to the monitor - It worked! Boo. So something was wrong with the CPU. I tried to tinker with it. Even tried to use the other motherboard but still failed.
I was scared that I might have broken it on my way home - because I still used it in Manila. I tried everything it just wont work. So i decided to bring it to a shop. I told the guy that the thing wont boot. Then he plugged it in to their stuff and then it miraculously worked - it said it was missing an OS but still it worked. The guy went on and talked about how it must be because of loose stuff that may have been fixed on the ride going there. Haha. He was trying to get me to leave the CPU there - that some part may need cleaning and replacing. But I wasn’t buying it. I just concluded there’s a problem with the monitor. So I just told them that I’ll have my dad bring it in sometime. haha. I went to the mall to run an errand at the bank and buy an LCD monitor.

When I got home…it worked! cool! Bad news is that one of my HDs broke - I dunno why. So I had to reinstall Windows etc.
Here it is! Tagpi! haha.. Notice how none of its parts match!

It’s been a while since I’ve written in this blog and there’s definitely a lot of things that happened since then including : Bicol trip, “Shopping” sprees, first day of work, the ever-present emo-ness and boy’s day out. But I just can’t seem to write any of these things.
I’ll just take some time to collect thoughts. I hope to write about one of those things within the week.

Me first!!!
Early this morning, I rode the 9AM bus to Manila to meet up with Bodie and Chino. I was talking to Bodie 3AM that morning and we decided to move our failed Ocean Park adventure to today. So there. We just agreed to go after lunch, hoping that Chino was ok with it. Wee. So at around 3PM, we went to ocean park. WOW! There were no lines! Amazing! The last time we were there the number was at 792 and we had 912 - I think.
Afterwards, we went to MOA to eat - by this time, I actually still haven’t eaten lunch yet. But before that, we first went to Zara because Chino was gonna ask for an exchange (the shirt he bought had a stain). We weren’t really sure what we wanted to eat. They knew I had plans for dinner so they tried to avoid “meal” places. We wanted pizza and ice cream - too bad there isn’t an Amazing Cones in MOA. So we just walked around to find a place. Bodie was actually looking for one store in specific that she saw in the net. But after a lot of walking. We just gave up (on the now non-existent store). We then settled on Jammin Jamaica. Yum! They wanted the Shepherd’s Pie and some pizza. But then, the person said their oven was broken and the only food available were the (Jamaican) patties. Disappointment! Haha. We really had no idea where to go. So I just suggested to eat dinner already at Kalye Juan. (**can’t find my cable for my cellphone. I’ll upload the pics later). We ordered squidball as appetizer and then lengua, chicken pastel and sisig as the main dishes. But the highlight of the dinner was the “dynamita” - just like cheesesticks except the insides were big silis whose seeds were taken out and replaced with cheese. At first, I was reluctant to try it because I really don’t like spicy food. Chino and Bodie tried it first. Chino said it was real spicy. Bodie said it wasn’t. I tried one - yeah it was a bit spicy. Thinking Bodie may have had a “dud”, we asked her to try Chino’s… then boom! Her face turned red! Haha! Good thing we had bottomless drinks. However because we drank a lot, we really had a hard time finishing the food. We left the restaurant not wanting to see any more food. We still went around for a while because Bodie was still craving for ice cream.
Lou’s Despedida
The three of us then went to Glorietta to meet up with Lou, who set a dinner for the DOTA people (we play online at night). We met up at timezone then went to Teriyaki Boy to eat (except the three of us!) Dinner was fun! (**waiting for Karen to upload the pics)
We then decided to continue the fun at timezone! Earlier Chino, Bodie and I played the drum + guitars game. This time around Bodie and I played DDR. I played basketball with Lou too. Man was I sweaty… really sweaty! Eventually people had to leave and only Bodie, Chino, Lou and me who were left. We spent the time singing at one of the booths in Timezone.
